Our story

Play that follows instinct

A cat is a hunter, and a little work makes a treat far more satisfying than a bowl it never has to think about. Hunt & Pounce puzzle feeders hide treats inside a game — a sliding block, a rolling barrel, a pegged board — so your cat has to nudge, paw and work to reach them. It turns a quiet afternoon into a little hunt, giving a house cat the kind of mental and physical play its instincts are built for. Each puzzle is made from safe, food-friendly materials and is easy to wash between sessions.

How it's made

Each puzzle is made from food-safe materials — beechwood, food-grade plastic or non-toxic silicone — cut or moulded, then assembled and tested so parts move easily but stay in place. No sharp edges, no small pieces that come loose, and everything is designed to be taken apart and washed.

How to use it

Place a few small treats in the puzzle and set it on the floor. Show your cat where the treats are hidden once, then let them figure it out at their own pace. Start with a simple puzzle, and step up the difficulty as your cat catches on. Wash the parts between uses.

Good to know

How do I clean them?

The parts come apart for washing. Wash them with warm, soapy water, rinse well and dry thoroughly between uses. Keep them out of the dishwasher unless the label says they are safe.

Is this a medicine or a treatment?

No. It is a toy — an enrichment puzzle for play and feeding. It is not a medicine and not intended to address any behaviour or health issue. For a real behaviour or health concern, talk to a vet.

How do I start my cat on one?

Set it on the floor with a few treats, show your cat where they are hidden once, and let them work it out at their own pace. Start with an easy puzzle and step up the difficulty as they catch on.

Are they safe for my cat?

Yes. The puzzles are made from food-safe materials — beechwood, food-grade plastic or non-toxic silicone — with no sharp edges and no small pieces that come loose. Watch your cat the first few times they use one.

What should I put in them?

Small, dry treats work best — a few at a time. You can also use pieces of your cat's regular food to keep the reward healthy. Avoid anything sticky or wet that would be hard to clean out.

Why do cats need puzzle feeders?

Cats are hunters, and a little work makes a treat more satisfying. Puzzle feeders turn feeding time into a small hunt, giving a house cat mental and physical play its instincts are built for.
